Reality has caught up with Dick Barton's 1940s wrist radio. This watch make calls to contacts, without the need to remove your phone from your pocket, according to the instructions.

There are 77 primary screen layouts to chose from (one customised) and the display can be adjusted from a nighttime level to easily coping with full sun.

Surprisingly there is an old style winder secondary button, which give an alternative fast method to scroll through the 20+ entry main menu. Please type to chose from but setup options are rather spread around. Some are internal and some only in the associated H-band android app.

The watch overall is a manageable size with a very comfortable strap, which works well for 24x7 wearing.

With time, pulse and fairly minimal low intensity display settings, my first charge seemed set to last about 4 weeks, which was impressive!. It was a while before the stated charge level moved off 100% (I thought it was faulty at first) If you use the “always on” option to show black and white time continuously battery, time between charges seems down to the three day level. No doubt battery time with phone calls will be similar.

Overall I'm very pleased with it.

Transit time from China was very short with bulk packaging into the UK.
